Our restoration and refurbishment of The RSA has won a RIBA London Award 2013. The scheme clarifies the purity of the original architecture, increases the flexibility of the spaces, and discreetly inserts 21st century technology into this historic building.

Winning an RIBA London Award in 2010, Twenty Bishops Square, whose terracotta cladding draws inspiration from the language of St. Botolph’s Hall, mitigates between the scale and texture of the listed building and the modern offices which surround it.
Building for Life Award 2009
This development for the Environment Trust in partnership with Sheffield City Council won a Building for Life Award. The design focuses on layout, low-energy systems & landscape design to offer genuinely sustainable, affordable homes to local people.
CABE selected the completed scheme as a Case Study in 2009, saying: ‘Norfolk Park Green Homes excels in creating a place with a distinctive architectural character. The scheme lifts people’s spirits and enhances their everyday lives, even on a rainy and windy day in Sheffield.’

This refurbishment of the Tab Centre in Shoreditch restores the Hall as a church asset while creating a valuable resource within the local community. The completed project includes flexible arts spaces and accommodates the church’s outreach programmes.

Matthew Lloyd Architects, project at St. Pauls’ Church, Old Ford, which won the RICS Community Benefit Award redefines how the church can survive and sustain itself while offering a variety of uses to serve a modern, urban, multi-cultural community.
Highly Commended Wood Awards 2004
The Commendation was for St. Pauls’ Old Ford which included a four storey steel framed structure, dubbed ‘the ark’ inserted within the west end of the church. Clad in tulipwood, the ark allows the chancel to be retained at its original scale.
