On Saturday 7th June 2025, as part of London Festival of Architecture, Matthew Lloyd Architects devised and guided a very successful walking tour around 36 historic Churches in the City of London, led and narrated by director Alex Sherratt. An accompanying map has been produced for the walking tour that corresponds with the churches included in the on-going Framework Conservation Plan being undertaken by Matthew Lloyd Architects and Alan Baxter Associates on behalf of the City Deanery.

The full walk is approximately 12km, starting in Guildhall Yard taking a clockwise route and ending at the west end of Cheapside, but could easily be broken down into smaller manageable portions.

For those who missed out the tour, below are some snapshots we have taken during the day, plus our map for you to give the route a go for yourself.
